I pay for my child's hot dinner. How much is it?
Currently hot dinners are £1 for children in KS2 and Nursery. All children in FS2 and KS1 are entitled to a free school lunch.
Can I send my child with a packed lunch?
Of course. We strongly encourage healthy choices in lunch boxes.
No fizzy drinks. No glass items please. Our school meals are delicious though and there is also a deli bar where children can choose a sandwich or a wrap.
I want to get in touch with the school. How do I do it?
The office is staffed from 8:00 until 16:00 every day.

I want to speak with a senior leader. How do I do it?
A senior leader may be available immediately. However, this is not always the case. Leave your details and a brief summary of the query with a member of office staff, and the appropriate person will ring you to arrange an appointment.

I wish to speak to a member of staff about a safeguarding issue Who do I speak to?
In the first instance, ask to speak to our designated safeguarding officer, Mrs Welbourne or a member of the team which includes Mr Gillen and Miss Devaney.
All conversations will be dealt with in the strictest confidence.
I wish to speak to a teacher.
If you wish to speak to a teacher, please come to the academy at 8:30. Teachers must be ready to teach from 8:50 so they would be unavailable at that point. The best time to meet with a teacher is at 3.15, once the children have left the academy.
If it is a quick message, please see the office staff who will happily pass this on.
Where should I park?
There is parking outside the school. Please drive extremely slowly and carefully as this area gets very busy before and after the academy day. Please do not park on the double yellow lanes, this can cause accidents.
I require disabled access. Where should I go?
Disabled access is through the front gate at the academy. If you require assistance, just ask when you buzz the intercom. A member of the office staff will be happy to help.
How do I buy new uniform?
We buy our uniform through a company called Steady school wear. They are based in Hull and you can order online. You can then choose to have your uniform delivered to the academy, to your house or you can collect it.
There is a family emergency. What should I do?
Please get in touch. We will support families as much as we can.
I want my child to come to Craven Primary Academy. What should I do?
Everything you need is at reception. Just pop in, ring or e-mail any time and we will assist.
How does the academy communicate with parents?
The website is updated regularly. We send newsletters, we text and tweet.
